A Beautiful Day at the Love Wedding Show
There’s something special about early starts when they’re tied to purpose, passion, and a day full of opportunity.
Sunday 19th April 2026 marked the last wedding show of the season for ASF Creationz and it couldn’t have ended on a better note. It was a day that reminded me why I love what I do, and how powerful it is to be surrounded by creativity, collaboration, and genuine connection.
The Early Morning Drive
The alarm went off long before the sun had properly risen, but there was no hesitation just excitement. These early mornings might seem daunting to some, but when you know you’re heading into a day filled with potential clients, industry professionals, and beautifully curated inspiration, it’s all worth it.
With the car packed moments before, I set off on the drive with my two incredible volunteers, Tre and Sara. Having the right people beside you makes all the difference, and their energy set the tone for the day.
As we got closer to Newark, the skies began to brighten, revealing what would become one of the most beautiful spring days this season.
Arriving at Kelham Renaissance Hall
Pulling up to Kelham Renaissance Hall was a moment in itself. The venue is nothing short of breathtaking set within stunning grounds, with a grand and historic presence that instantly elevates any event.
The architecture is striking, with ornate detailing and high ceilings that create a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere. It’s the kind of venue couples instantly fall in love with. Natural light flooded through large windows, perfectly highlighting each exhibitor’s display and adding to the overall elegance of the day.
Setting Up with Purpose
Every detail matters when exhibiting especially when your brand is built on visual impact.
Tre and Sara were incredible throughout the setup, ensuring everything looked balanced and refined. Our acrylic signage, place cards, and stationery pieces were styled to feel clean, modern, and inviting—never overcrowded, but impactful enough to draw attention.
Reconnecting with Familiar Faces
One of the highlights of the day was reconnecting with some of my favourite people in the industry Luke from Flisher Photography and Daniel from Daniel Burton Photography.
There’s something incredibly valuable about these relationships. Being surrounded by suppliers who are just as passionate and driven creates an environment where everyone thrives.
The Atmosphere: Sunshine, Energy, and Opportunity
As doors opened, the atmosphere quickly came alive. The sun was beaming, and it lifted the entire energy of the event.
Couples arrived excited and ready to plan some with clear visions, others just beginning their journey. It created the perfect environment for meaningful conversations and genuine connections.
Up to 80 Exhibitors – A Strong Industry Presence
With up to 80 exhibitors, the Love Weddings Show showcased the very best of the wedding industry.
From florists to photographers, every space was filled with inspiration. For ASF Creationz, it reinforced the importance of standing out not just visually, but through connection and experience.
The Selfie Mirror – A Standout Feature
The Selfie Mirror was without a doubt a hit..
It created a buzz around the stand, drawing people in and encouraging interaction. Guests loved capturing moments, laughing, and sharing their experience making it not just a feature, but an attraction.
Meaningful Conversations & Potential Leads
Throughout the day, I spoke with a wide range of couples. These conversations are where the real value lies understanding their vision and showing how ASF Creationz can bring it to life.
We gained strong potential leads, but more importantly, built genuine connections that will continue beyond the event.
Making New Exhibitor Connections
It was also a great opportunity to connect with fellow exhibitors. Sharing ideas, experiences, and building relationships is such an important part of these events.
These connections often lead to future collaborations and continued growth within the industry.
A Personal Note on Tre & Sara
Since my son Tre started helping out and bringing his friend Sara, I honestly cannot thank them enough. From capturing amazing photos to making sure the setup was exactly right—not too little and not too much to showcase—they played such an important role.
Their opinions are just as important as mine, and having their input has made a real difference to how ASF Creationz presents at events.
A Perfect Spring Day
The sunshine continued throughout the day, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Guests enjoyed both the venue and its surroundings, making the event feel like more than just a wedding show—it was an experience.
Reflecting on the Final Show of the Season
As the last show of the season, this event felt even more special.
It was the perfect way to close strong conversations, great exposure, and a reminder of how far ASF Creationz has come. There was a real sense of achievement by the end of the day.
